Week One

Having just arrived back from holidays I thought it would be great to showcase my first work that I created as a teaching demo at Smokey Cape Retreat, South West Rocks. I was given the opportunity to showcase my techniques to an amazing bunch of beautiful people who also inspired me and helped out with the project. The completed work is being raffled with all funds going into purchasing a Water Well in Africa.

However, lets get back to Smokey Cape. Smoky Cape Retreat is a neo-tuscan style homely retreat situated in a beautiful bush setting surrounded by a wonderful selection of wildlife. Smokey Cape is a headland in Australia on the New South Wales Mid-North Coast. It lies just east of the town of South West Rocks, and within the Hat Head National Park. Smokey Cape Retreat is run by Mary and Ken Markwell, an amazing duo who I am blessed to call family. You can find more information about Smokey Cape here at http://smokycaperetreat.com.au/

Apart from the heat wave, it must have been over 35 degrees, the day was an amazing success. However, I will let the photos do the talking. Here are a selected few images to show the different processes I went through during the demo.
